Mom

My mom is the best mom in the world. I know many of you will argue that your mom is better than mine, that is your opinion!

My mom taught my sister and me the best thing in the world, love. Love for God. Love for family. Love for friends. Because of her love for God, I learned the importance of a relationship with our Savior and have chosen that for myself, too. Because of her love for our family, I learned how to stick with my family through thick and thin, in good times and challenging times. Because of her love for friends, I learned that friends are actually family who have a different blood line.
God has blessed me greatly through my mom and my family. I could list hundreds of things my mom has done for me, but really, none can top love!

Thank you, Mom. Thank you, God, for a wonderful mom!

You know I couldn't be a mom without you and Shonda so it is a privilege everyday to pray for my daughters in whatever they do they will depend upon the Lord God and honor him in all they do. Thank you for your love and for loving God.
We have a new family member in heaven and the Gospel Choir and your solo"It is Well with my Soul" was a blessing to Aunt Marie. Paul sang the Lord's Prayer and It is Well With my Soul at her memorial service. Now, Sandy Tonsager just lost her father on Earth but will see him again in heaven too!

Hey, yeah about that 'coming home to supporting churches..' Don't give me credit for this ingenious idea (because it's actually Ryan's), but what would you think if, instead of churches all supporting a couple missionaries, some smaller churches would put all their support on one missionary and that way when they came back they would just have to visit one church and not have to go around to so many churches spending their time asking for money? And bigger churches with more money could fully support how ever many they possibly could and so missionaries could be doing what they are supposed to be doing as much as possible? It sounds incredible to me.

I'll agree, you have a great mom! I really appreciate her mentoring us young moms!
Hope all is well with you!

Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment. It is always good to hear from you. You were always the adventurous one. Since the kids, my adventure takes the form of..."Do I take Main Street or the highway to get home tonight." :-)

This was a very nice tribute to your mother. Mom's are great. Aren't they?
