Last week was our annual missionary retreat. It is a time to do business, study God's word together, and play a little, too. This year we went to Tottori on the Sea of Japan. We had an amazing time studying with Ray VanderLaan-via DVD (I think that is how you spell his name!). I appreciate how he makes Bible times come alive.
We stayed at a lovely hotel with a wonderful, helpful staff.
Our time at the beach was filled with swimming and sand castles...
We also set aside time to honor Bill and Luci Lengefeld since they will be retiring this year. (Here is half of the group!:)
Now we are back to daily life as usual, grateful for the break and moving forward!
God is at work all around us and we don't want to miss a beat!
