I thought that I'd try to get one more post in before the end of February...
Last weekend Amber, our newest missionary, and I went on a little food tour of Osaka. We had a really lovely day for walking around and enjoying the city.
Our first stop was a takoyaki stand. Anyone remember what tako is in Japanese?!
Next, another popular Osaka food, okonomiyaki.
We also took a ride on the ferris wheel on top of the HEP Five building. I have been on this a couple of times before. It is a favorite place for me to take visitors...
Since it was nice weather we could see quite a ways...
And, I'll finish with a self-portrait from the ferris wheel.
Although life has been super busy with visitors, visiting, classes, music, preaching, and Starbucks, I am really enjoying everything. Sometimes I still am pretty amazed that God has placed me here, helped me learn to communicate reasonably well, and allowed me to meet so many cool people.
Speaking of cool people, since I am going to meet a bunch of my missionary friends for breakfast tomorrow morning, I think I should head to bed. Thank you for your prayers and support! I wish I could express in words how much they mean to me.
Soli Deo Gloria!

My friend had me try okonomiyaki when she took me to Osaka, too! I liked it except for the fishy stuff they put on top. Happy March Day!
