A Pink Weekend

The weather this past weekend was beautiful! After the winds and rains of the past week or so it was a lovely weekend for cherry blossom viewing. As I drove to church on Sunday morning I felt I was driving in a pink world!

Here is the view I saw walking from church to my car.

Here is an up close look at the tree.

After church I met up with several ladies from Gospel choir for a cherry blossom viewing picnic. Here we are enjoying food and conversation while gazing at the cherry trees!

And on our way home...

What beautiful trees! Thanks for posting that -- and so much more here. I've spent the last several minutes browsing the archives to see what you've been up to.

Your parents gave me the address of your blog over the weekend. We saw them at my brother's wedding in Nebraska. It was so nice for them to drive down for Steve's wedding. We all talked for a long time -- so nice to catch up with them and hear what's up in Madison and with you, etc.

Anyhow, I'm glad to now have your blog bookmarked so I can visit again. I've got some pics of your parents with mine -- I may send one your way, too. :)

Have a great day!
