New Blogs Found

So, I haven't blogged much in the past week and a half but I have found a bunch of new blogs to read! This takes less mind use on my part and provides more entertainment not just for me but for all of you who read my blog and use the links to read other people's stuff.

By the way, I am back to running again! And in that, I have been enjoying spring the past couple of weeks. First, we had the cherry blossoms. As they started falling, the dogwoods started blooming. Now the azaleas are also starting to bloom. Of course, with all the rain we've had the trees and bushes and everything around is turning lovely shades of green.

God is so creative! I love that we get to enjoy His creation and through this encounter can praise Him. As I look around at the budding earth, the blue sky and white clouds (sometimes gray!), to the hills in the distance, I see God's marvelous works and can't help but praise Him. The amazing thing is, we praise THE God who made all of these things, not the creation itself.

If I am running at the right time, which I seem to be doing every time for the past two weeks, I hear a man standing by the pond of the park, where there are great acoustics, singing some chants. I have no idea what he is saying or to what god he is praying or singing, but when I hear him I get bold and actually sing out loud, too! I am sure the ducks and turtles enjoy it. It is a strong reminder for me to pray for my friends here.

Just some ramblings for today!

We just enjoyed God's creation traveling across the KS prairies last week. The land is so flat that the sunset was a huge round ball of orange that lasted for several miles and then dropped off so you people could arise. I don't need to imagine but will praise the Creator God that not only created the plants and animals but we humans all around this beautiful planet.
As it takes more than just daylight to travel these 2,000 miles, the moon was full and provided great light for us!

I just spent an hour on your site enjoying the people from all over the world and the way that they show their love for Jesus. Amazing how one can jet from Japan to Mexico to Congo, to US, well just all over and get a "heavenly view of families with in the family of God. Thank you for the wonderful hour just realizing how big God's creation is and how it all fits together to give glory to Him! Now let's hope I can get this posted.

That was beautifully written, Shan. I can picture the man by the pond chanting and you just lifting your praises to God as you run. May your praises touch that man's heart.

By the way, thanks for linking to my blog.
